Our water extraction services includes the following:
- We assess from where the water damage originated
and determine the extent of damage to the structure and personal contents.
- The condition of the flooring, including hardwoods,
carpet, tiling, padding, etc., is checked.
- Moisture levels are checked and documented with a
hydrometer and recorded by our technician.
- Water extraction is performed, if necessary.
- All contents in the affected areas are removed to
pull carpet and padding, if applicable.
- Mildecide is sprayed.
- Drying equipment is set up, using fans and
dehumidifiers in strategic locations and the length of time needed is determined.
- Hardwood flooring or new carpet is replaced by a
general contractor, as needed. Or the original carpet is re-installed once dried.
- Contents are moved back in and set in their
original location (or where requested).
